The Awana Grand Prix

The kids participated in a pine wood derby with their Awana club. Our club joined with the Hailey club. Than had the tank, it was a huge hit with all the other boys. Dani's was the slug bug, she is totally into the slug bug game right now. Last but not least is the "Jeep". Gretchen can't get enough of Tony's jeep, so it was only fitting that she race a jeep.

Gretchen wasn't quite sure why she was suppose to be so excited, but she wasn't about to let anyone touch her trophy. She took 2nd place for design.

Than was very surprised when they announced that he won 1st place for design.

Than took 1st place, Gretchen took 2nd place and Dani took 3rd place for design. We were all very pleased with the outcome.

Spring Break in Salt Lake City

We spent spring break in Salt Lake City, and had loads of fun. We went to Hogle Zoo, the aquarium, Park City shopping (Tony's new favorite shopping spot), the Living Planet Museum, and Boondocks. Than said that Boondocks if every 9 year old boys dream spot. We all had a great time. It was nice to just get away from the snow for a few days.

The Living Planet Museum is definitely worth checking out. Lots of stuff for all ages to do.

Winter Fun!!!!

We took Uncle Ed and Aunt Coralea sledding for the first time on Rotor Run. We all had a great time. Coralea was impressed by all the snow.

Because we had such a big winter these deer were forced down into town. This herd of about 18 head hung out a couple blocks from our house all winter.

We didn't get any pictures of the presents because her finger got caught in the drain of the shower while trying to get her cleaned off and cut it pretty bad. She was not at all interested in anything the rest of the day. What a present

Because of all the snow we got it was a very small party.
